Today, many crypto investors see BCH as one of the best Bitcoin alternatives available.

Nextdoor can help. While you don't need to turn these interactions into face-to-face meetings, that can certainly help you get to know your neighbors a little better.

The Director of an ORU reports to the VCR, as the Chancellor’s designee. The founding Director of an ORU shall be specified in the proposal to establish the ORU and is appointed by the VCR upon the formal approval of the new ORU. During the final year of a Director appointment, or under circumstances when the appointment of a new Director is required, the VCR appoints a search advisory committee.  In consultation with the search committee, the VCR communicates a campus-wide call for nominations.  The search committee reviews all nominations received, decides on a short list of viable candidates, and decides on an evaluation method (e.g. vision statements, interviews, etc.).  The committee recommends to the VCR one or more individuals for appointment.

Despite new and exciting things happening in the cryptocurrency space seemingly every week, there’s still no guarantee that these six virtual currencies, or even bitcoin, have what it takes to survive and thrive over the long run. Piecemeal regulation that varies by country, as well as the fact that investors have no true ownership in the asset that actually matters -- i.e., the underlying blockchain network -- makes buying into cryptocurrencies a real gamble.

Everything has its pros and cons and so does Facebook. While Facebook has become a part of our lives and it is loved by millions, it has got its share of criticisms. It has been panned across the globe for its ever changing privacy settings, which gives Facebook total control over the information that we provide on our accounts. If you are in mood for a surprise, just compare the privacy disclaimers of Facebook from its past to present to know the difference. Facebook’s experiments with the News Feed has also not gone down too well with users. The company’s Internet.org initiative has also made sure to irk net neutrality enthusiasts. To sum it up, these are good enough reasons to need Facebook alternatives.

What if online social and commerce platforms paid you just for participating within their system? What if they distributed funds back to you, THE USER, in the form of Universal Basic Income versus giving it to shareholders and other stake holders? I discovered the answer to these questions roughly a year ago when my in-laws introduced me to the ORU Marketplace.

On January 31, 2013, ORU announced that William "Billy" Wilson, executive director of the International Center for Spiritual Renewal and vice-chair of the ORU board of trustees, had been selected to succeed Rutland as president, effective on July 1, 2013.[58] A day earlier, the ORU student newspaper had briefly posted an erroneous report on its website, mistakenly identifying a different person as the new president. Rutland criticized the report at a student assembly and the newspaper's longtime faculty adviser left the school the next day.[59]
