External Advisory Committee: An ORU may also have an External Advisory Committee, comprised of individuals from other on-campus units and/or from outside the campus to provide perspective and to help identify new research and scholarly opportunities. The composition of this committee should be determined by the Director working with the Faculty Advisory Committee and the VCR. This committee should review the activities and plans of the unit and provide written advice to the Director on an annual basis. A summary of the Advisory Committee recommendations and findings shall be given in the unit’s Annual Report.
On October 12, the plaintiffs filed an amended lawsuit adding the university's Board of Regents (Oral and Richard Roberts, along with George Pearsons, Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Michael A. Hammer, John Hagee, Marilyn Hickey, Jerry Savelle and Charles Watson) to the suit and alleging three days after the original lawsuit was filed, Roberts fired the university's financial comptroller (who had been employed by ORU for 26 years) and "witnesses have reported voluminous materials and documents were shredded and destroyed, constituting spoilation of evidence." The filing also alleged Lindsay Roberts had spent at least nine nights in the ORU guest house with an underage 16-year-old male who also was allowed to live in the Roberts family residence on campus, a situation that made their oldest daughter so uncomfortable, she insisted deadbolt locks be installed on all bedroom doors in the house.[29]

The ad-free site is primarily focused on artists and creative people. It also promises not to sell user information to third-parties or enforce a real-name policy. Ello claims it is about “audacity, beauty, simplicity and transparency”. The best way of describing Ello would as a combination of Pinterest, Tumblr and Deviant Art. It’s much like an alternative social networking version of LindedIn, but for visual artists.

The process for a Sunset Review will be similar to a program review, except that a document similar to an application for establishing a new ORU should be submitted (see above). The application should address all criteria for establishing and continuing ORUs and include 1) a progress report for its achievements over the past 15 years (or since it has been in existence), 2) contributions the ORU has made to research, graduate and undergraduate education and public service, 3) new visions, goals, and prospects and 4) the consequences if the ORU were not continued. Other evidence of Value Added should also be included. The proposal should explain whether the ORU proposes to continue unchanged in the future, or if its plans change, what they will be and what they will accomplish, and how leadership continuation or change will be managed. The application should be submitted to the Office of Research by September 1st of the academic year of the Sunset Review.
ORUs are a major mechanism for fostering and enhancing the research enterprise at UCI. They take advantage of the strength and breadth of university faculty addressing a particular research area, and through multidisciplinary approaches they enhance research beyond what is conducted in existing departments and schools. They also can advance fundamental discoveries towards applications beyond academia, with applications in health, materials science, and information technology to name a few. A successful ORU should elevate the entire university and showcase UCI’s excellence and prominence in its area of research.

“Computational approaches are common across most scientific projects at Berkeley Lab. As Moore’s Law is slowing down, novel computing architectures, system, and techniques have become a priority initiative at Berkeley Lab, “ says Horst Simon, Berkeley Lab’s Deputy Director. “We recognized early how quantum simulation could provide an effective approach to some of the most challenging computational problems in science, and I am pleased to see recognition of our LDRD initiative through this first direct funding. Quantum information science will become an increasingly important element of our research enterprise across many disciplines.”
XOBW ASSOCIATE FILTER KEY action This protocol allows the user to limit the list of web server lookup key entries that are displayed by the key manager. The user specifies text that is used as a filter against the beginning characters of the key values. Only matching keys will be listed in lookup key manager utility. Also, this protocol is used to clear a key filter if one is currently being applied. DO KFILTER^XOBWUA
How to get BitCoin? You’ll have to either invest in it by buying or build a rig to mine it. BitCoin may be the most popular digital currency but it is getting harder and harder to mine. Today, there are so called ‘Professional Miners’ with dedicated hardware mining BitCoins, our average household computer doesn’t have the computing power to compete, not even those with 3 SLi NVidia Graphic Cards. Because the entry barrier gets higher and higher as the pool of BitCoin available for mining shrinks.

LA7 LAB RESULTS TO HDR (SUB) subscriber This protocol should be attached to the HL7 event protocol LA7 LAB RESULTS AVAILABLE (EVN). See this protocol for further information. This subscriber protocol is used by the Laboratory package to indicate to the HL package to send laboratory results to the VA Health Data Repository (HDR). It utilizes the "Router" Subscriber Protocol supported by the VistA HL package. The routing logic uses the value of the parameter passed into the router to determine which Laboratory package subscript should be sent to the HDR. The following subscripts are supported by the event: "CH", "MI", "SP", "CY", "EM". Examples: ROUTING LOGIC: D RTR^LA7HDR("CH;") will only send to HDR results associated with Laboratory "CH" subscript. ROUTING LOGIC: D RTR^LA7HDR("MI;") will only send to HDR results associated with Laboratory "MI" subscript. ROUTING LOGIC: D RTR^LA7HDR("CH;MI;") will only send to HDR results associated with Laboratory "CH", and "MI" subscripts. ROUTING LOGIC: D RTR^LA7HDR("CH;MI;SP;") will only send to HDR results associated with Laboratory "CH", "MI", and "SP" subscripts. ROUTING LOGIC: D RTR^LA7HDR("CH;MI;SP;CY;EM;") will send to HDR results associated with all Laboratory subscripts currently supported. Note: The order of the subscripts listed in the input parameter is not significant. Separating the subscripts using the ";" character is significant.
