An ORU is an academic unit the University has established to provide a supportive infrastructure for interdisciplinary research that complements the academic goals of departments. Characteristically, ORUs cross significant intellectual boundaries between disciplines such as those assumed to exist between departments and divisions, or their equivalent. ORUs may also be established to serve a compelling campus research priority or need that has been identified through broad campus consultation or strategic planning.
Roberts tendered his letter of resignation to the university's board of regents on November 23, effective immediately. In a prepared email statement released by the university, he said, "I love ORU with all my heart. I love the students, faculty, staff and administration and I want to see God's best for all of them." The regents said they would meet the following week to discuss the search for a new president. Executive regent Billy Joe Daugherty continued as interim president (working with chancellor Oral Roberts).
Promising but not yet ready for an ORU application. White papers in this category represent groups that have made substantial progress towards an ORU but further development in specific areas is still necessary (e.g., obtaining a center-scale grant). The Office of Research will work with these groups to provide support to help them achieve these goals. A specific agreement with the proposing group detailing milestones to be met will be developed, and funding will be provided for at most 3 years, subject to satisfactory progress. During this time the group will have the designation Provisional ORU (prORU). At the end of this period, if the milestones are accomplished a prORU may submit an application for ORU status. If they are not, then prORU designation and further funding will be terminated.

On January 29, 2009, it was announced that the Green family would commit an additional $10.4 million to go toward additional campus renovations and upgrades to take place during summer 2009. About the gift, Mart Green, who is chair of ORU's board of trustees, said, "This gift will help to improve the quality of education for students at the new ORU. Our family is excited to continue partnering with ORU financially to ensure this great university continues to provide an excellent, whole-person education."
Despite new and exciting things happening in the cryptocurrency space seemingly every week, there’s still no guarantee that these six virtual currencies, or even bitcoin, have what it takes to survive and thrive over the long run. Piecemeal regulation that varies by country, as well as the fact that investors have no true ownership in the asset that actually matters -- i.e., the underlying blockchain network -- makes buying into cryptocurrencies a real gamble.
Siacoin, like other blockchain-based solutions, depends on its features and popularity to rise and shine. And Siacoin is amazing — just think about paying for storing individual files on a blockchain from where it can never be lost realistically. Siacoin is 1.5+ years old but it only saw a sharp rise in its price recently. In June 2017, its price rose to 0.022 USD.
BitShares [BTS] is an Ethereum-like cryptocurrency that features Smart Contracts unlike Bitcoin. However, it offers much more features than just smart contracts, e.g., BitAssets, DEX (Decentralized Exchange) like BitConnect, etc. BitAssets are smart currencies, e.g., BitUSD is backed by value of 1 USD, i.e., it’s digital coin for the value of a real commodity.
Vero also differentiates itself in a few ways. The app makes it easy to search through old posts, allowing you to quickly view, say, all the movies friends have recommended to you. It also promises not to use any algorithm magic on your feed, so you'll always see posts in reverse chronological order. Finally, Vero offers an ad-free experience. Instead, the company plans to cover expenses with subscription fees. For now, however, Vero is still free for the first million people who sign up, so if the network sounds appealing, you should act fast.
Odd you should mention that. As a former FBook devotee when they (after seven years) required for very personal information, drivers licence info etc that I never give out, I realized for what they were offering was not worth the information tney wanted,. Had they called my listed ph# they could ha e proven to themselves i was a real human. A blessing in disguise it tuened out to be though. No more negativity, no more sitting on the edge of rage every day. Feeling much better now.
Secondly, Ethereum’s incorporation of smart contracts is key. Smart contracts are protocols built into a blockchain network that act as guidelines for execution. Let’s say a company wants to buy more product when its sales hit a certain level -- smart contracts can do just that by executing the order. They help facilitate, verify, and enforce the negotiation of a contract, which in this instance would be the legally binding terms that parties, which could be people or businesses, have agreed upon.
